What is lifestyle photography? Surf Photoshoot
I recently got back from a trip to South Africa to escape the Vancouver rain for a few weeks. While there, I got to keep my creative juices flowing by doing a lifestyle surf shoot. Lifestyle photography is all about capturing stories. It’s a style that works great for people doing things and is often much more engaging and unique to the viewer compared to posed photography. It isn’t used very often in the business world, but if you want something a little different, it certainly can be! With lifestyle photography, posing is usually done through prompts, and actions instead of an exact formula of where to put hands, legs, and how much your head should be tilted.
